Hi and tanks for the great work... I'm waiting for the chance to try the new improvements in a real situation... looking it out of work semes that works great!
I want ask if is possible to add a new feature on the hardware input device like my BFC2000 to add and improve more usefull functions...
My idea is to can configure in virtual console a special frame(s) to have on the input device more pages of sliders... a sort of LAYER selection of sliders configuration (would be fantastic with motorized faders) where changing the pages you can have under controll teens and teens of chanel intensity, groups or fixture device values, maybe using other controllers on the input device or some key in the keyboard to change page(layer)...
a good preference pannel for this kind of frame in virtual console, could have the possibility to set the key that call the frame on input device and/or the possibility to add it in a list that can be slide using 2 configured to switch from a page to the forward or the previous...
It's could be a great expansion of power and control for the hardware input devices!

the layered pages of fader configuration of the frame could work with not motorized faders too... maybe showing unselected (light gray) faders in virtual console, and set it selected only when the values will match the actual value of the channel linked at this slider, and only after the syncronization the slider will work changing the dmx out...
for the groups or the ficture group could be the same thing but we will need syncronize all the dmx output before move all...for example...
we have configured a layer with 8 dmx out (8 dimmer chanels) on the 8 sliders, and in another layer we have configured the same 8 dimmer chanels in a group on a single slider...
if in the single chanels layer we set chanel 1 trhu 4 at 40% anth the other 4 channels to 60%, to change the values together with the single slider in the other layer we must move the slider (if it is at 0) up, when we reach the 40% we syncronize the first 4 chanels and move it only and if we continue to go up with the slider, increase only the first 4 chanels instead we reach the 60% and we sync the last 4 chanels in the group...
in this case, I think that could be magic to have a button on the slider(s) of group(s) to open (if configured) a layer with all the chanels of group to adjust them directly with the sliders...
in this case we can have groups that have different values inside, and an easy way to adjust it, but I can figure that would be mean that the group creation would be re-thinked to add automatically a sub interface to set it in virtual console...
(ok, ok... I know... if I could be the developer I probably could hate this kind of suggestions and who suggest it!!!

oh and really would be great to have a similar feeling in simple console with the hardware input devices, having under the fingers the feelings of the light levels, changing pages on the simple console like in the layer of the virtual console and to make easy record the scenes, expecially with simple setups (only dimmer chanels)
