Hey. Love the program, but since I'm new to this whole lighting thing, I think I'm crashing the program. So what I'm doing to save time is copy and pasting scenes, but they creates a HUGE build of copies in my functions menus and it seems like the software has reached it's limit? I started building my fourth show and it won't let me access it without the spinning pin wheel of time wasted.

So, I have some suggestions.

1. Can copies be made without adding them to the scenes UNLESS they are changed (for example the length of it or the fade time or something)?
2. Can the Hold and Fade times be set to BPM (and the divisions within a musical bar) so I can build chases instead of plopping copies of copies of copies?

I'm just learning to use all of this gear as I am building a small rig for my band. I am using RGB strips connected to a DMXKing LeDMX4. I am using the latest version of the software on OSX 10.10.1. I am triggering the shows with a M-Audio shitty 49 key midi controller, using MOTU ultralite to run my audio and Ableton Live 9 to program the sounds. I recently tested a three song set and it worked beautifully, but it seems like maybe I've reached a limit in the software and can't think why this is.

ANY HELP WOULD BE AMAZING.

Hi,

How many scenes does your workspace file contain ?

1. I don't get it, why would you want to make a copy of a scene when you don't make any change to it ?
2. No, but you can control this in live by tapping a vcspeeddial.

Maybe you should give RGB Matrices a try ?
