Hi, I'm testing QLC+ , outputing via Artnet.
Everything seems to work - however only on first 192 channels.
When I setup my fixture on address 193 or higher, it stops receiving DMX signal.
It must be something with QLC+ as when I try Freestyler with Artnet output I can configure fixture on address 200 with no problem.
Any idea if it is a bug or limitation?
Artnet plugin supporting only 193 channels?
Hi,
I've just tested artnet output with DMXKing eDMX1 and Varytec Gigabar II (26 channels) with starting address 456 and it worked fine. So basically it should work fine.
Now it would be great if you post some more info so that we can help you:
- QLC+ version
- Operating system + version
- output device
- fixture description - manufacturer, model
and if possible attach simple qxw file that causes/reproduces the problem.
Please describe also what does it mean "Stops receiving DMX signal" - the LED does not shine or the fixture does not respond to commands (movement/color/etc..) or ...

Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
- I have latest QLC+ (4.8.1)
- Win XP
- Output device: http://www.blackout.sk/eshop/artnet-dmx ... x-oem.html
- Fixture - Chinese 36x10w Wash zoom moving head
I will try tomorrow different fixture.
By "Stops receiving DMX signal" I mean that when I change the address, from 193 the indicator which shows DMX signal is not lit (ie. on most fixtures, Led not blinking).
Of course, fixture is also not responding to any command - until I select lower addresses.
I was thinking that the issue may be with Output device, however, it wouldn't work with Freestyler then, would it?
Thanks again for checking

I tested in linux, that might be the difference. I will think about it if I can come up with a solution or how to debug it...
It is really strange.
One easy test: try to move fader 512 in simple desk - does it help?
If you happen to be in Bratislava, contact me jano at zvukari.sk

Hello Jano,
you are king! Once I move the slider 512, it starts to work
Seems like some bug?
One more thing - I did a mistake and the signal was missing from channel 193 not 194.
So basically, only first 192 channels were sent before I moved the slider 512
Yes, I am in Bratislava and will drop you a mail.
