Good morning everyone, I would like to transfer my project currently on an old PC (still w10 64bit) to a new PC with w11, I was wondering would it be possible without reprogramming everything? Thanks for your answers.

Make sure that the version of QLC+ you install on your new PC is the same as on your Old PC.
Apart from copying your Work Files you also need to copy your User Libraries (with custom fixtures, Channel Modifiers, Input Profiles etc) to your new PC.
If you use Images as Background for Widgets in your Virtual Console, you probably have to fix this.
If you use more than one USB device (DMX Dongle , Midi Controllers), check the Input Output Tab if they are all still linked to the right Universe.
If you use your PC in a network and communicate with other devices (like an Artnet controller or another PC running DAW software), you maybe have to repair your connections (if your old PC had a fixed IP adress, set this adress for your new PC).
If you made changes to your Windows Registry on your old PC, you maybe have to make them again on your new PC (https://docs.qlcplus.org/v4/advanced/parameters-tuning)

A QLC Workspace is like a Bob Ross painting: "it's your world, you can create whatever you want!"

Could it be that Fredje and i answering the same question at the same moment, might have caused this "duplication".
In other words: what would the forum server do if it receives a Submit on a post, while it is still processing another submit?

It will show you a warning that you are not answering the latest thread, albeit in a very unclear manner.MichelSliepenbeek wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2024 2:30 pm Could it be that Fredje and i answering the same question at the same moment, might have caused this "duplication".

All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore
