Never ending question re: Audio widget no input?

Well, already many times a subject in the forum, but...

I Use the latest 12.2 from the git on Win 10, and I'm not able to get the audiotrigger widget to react to input at all!
Using the default input in the I/O, it does nothing.

However, using the test button in the I/O shows audio coming in to QLC. At least it looks that way.
But the widget shows nothing………………………….

Help!!
