Hi I've added some physical data and modified the modes:
The manual lists modes 1 and 2 as being identical (both 16-bit). Modes 3 and 4 are different (both 8-bit, 4 doesn't have pan/tilt speed).
I'm assuming mode 2 is different from 1 in the same way as 4 is different from 3. ie.: Mode 2 has only 8 channels.
Please test the above and let me know if my assumption is correct.
