I am studying the code to implement this and I found a limitation: QLC wasn't designed to reproduce more than one step of the same chaser at the same time.
I guess I need to break the rules again, but it might take a bit
Crossfade slider/sliders
I think that maybe the only break of the rules could be re implement the concept of the action list making it indipendent from the chaser...
don't use the chaser strategy, simply build a different (but similar) algoritm that can do it... all the consoles that I know that start from the chaser logic to implement the cue sequence have a lot of limitations... someone cannot accept some type of cues, someone cannot have different manual control in the fade sliders and must have only 1 fader to cross between the sequence... someone cannot jump out from the sequence...
I know that it's more hard to re-implement all, but if you decide to do it, I'm sure that who will work in theatre with QLC+ will be very happy for your decision!

Hey guys, as you can see 4.4.0 beta1 finally made it.
I actually had to rewrite from scratch the Cue List engine which is now a separate piece from the common Chaser playback engine.
The one I wrote is actually more powerful than the "old" one cause it supports more than one function at the same time. So crossfade just use 2, but it could support 3-4-10 functions. (even though I can't imagine the use of it...)
I'd appreciate if you can deeply test it and tell me if it works for you. What you can see is the best I could do so far in these busy days.
Also, as nobody replied to my new website call, I'd appreciate also if you could give me a hand with the "drama" part.
Basically I would like to show to new users what they can do in theatres with QLC+.
Example:
- add fixtures
- add scenes
- add chaser
- add Virtual Console Cue List
- (add audio effects + Audio Cue)
- live performance peculiarities (Cue playback, crossfade, DMX dump, etc...)
I know you've already done these things on your projects, so it'd be great if we can share them with the QLC+ community.
Thanks !
