I have several Chauvet Wash FX Hex fixtures that have a an "auto program" mode which can either be controlled manual or via sound. However, this speed control is defined in one channel with manual being 0-250 and sound activated being 251-255. When you activate sound mode it basically overrides the auto program mode and does its own pattern. So you effectively have two modes that I wish to control:
1. Manual speed control and 16 auto program modes
2. Sound speed control and automatic program mode
What I am trying to accomplish via QLC is to have 16 auto program buttons in a solo frame, and a slider outside that frame that sets the manual speed (values 0-250). That works fine. Now I am trying to add a button in the same solo frame to set audio program mode (which is basically the speed channel set to 251-255). I can do this, however what I wish is for when I click back to one of the auto program modes that the previous manual speed value defined in the slider outside the solo frame is reverted to. This does not currently work since I have to set the value of the channel for speed mode to 255 in the associated scene. How can I best approach this?
I have included my show file to hopefully make sense of this.
Use a fader and button for same channel but different functions
