Hi all
For my simple theatre shows I run the main (virtual console) QLC window on my laptop, on an external monitor I have the "Monitor" window and the script.
We just bought some light bars and running them in 74 channel mode so can no longer display with the script, but it is getting so complex you can't see anything at a glance.
So I thought I just move the "Monitor" window out to a virtual desktop so that it is sized correct and available at a mouse click, but you can't send the "Monitor" window to a virtual desktop
So I guess that the request is make the monitor window ( and the tabs for functions etc) an individual window you can move to a virtual desktop
Just checked one of the other programs I have open and yes I can move one of the sub-windows (wrong name) off to another desktop

If you choose to extend your desktop with an external monitor, should you be able to drag the 2D monitor window to the external monitor?
Is this a windows machine?

All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore

Yes indeed that does work but the last purchase was some 12x12 cyc' bars which are 74 channel
Before these I could run the monitor on the external monitor with a PDF of the script so I could follow the script and keep an eye on things, but in 74 channel mode there is no screen space left.
Maybe next show will not run them in 74 channel mode as there is too much info to see at a glance, but if they were in a virtual desktop window I would be half way there...
Yes Windows 11
