Hello Everybody,
For several years now i am using Qlc+
And for my latest project i whas trying to use the RGB matrix generator to create
some paterns on a single color pixel ledstrip.
This is working fine, as long as i select the color white.
With this trick al the 3 chanels of 1 (RGB) pixel wil light up.
But this also takes down the resulution of the single color ledstrip because every time
3 pixel sigments lights up.
Is there a way to ad or change the options in the RGB fixture panel list
to a single color resolution
or other trick to use matrix generator for every single channel of the DMX output?
RGB matrix generator use for single color

Create your pixel strip as generic dimmer with proper number of channels.
Set RGB matrix to dimmer mode (I hope such mode exists )

Thanks Jano,
It helped.
I find a way.
First add a RGB matrix with the right amount off pixels that you want.
Then go to the fixture tab and select one by one the RGB panel rows that are created by the generator.
Then switch the fixture to a one channel dimmer.
The fixture wil shrink to one channel instead of 3.
you wil have to do that for each fixture (Lot of work)
on the background the fixtures stay linked to the matrix.
because the generic dimmer is on the end of the fixture list
i made a backup of the fixturemap.xml
en deleted all of the other fixtures in the list, so it wil be easy to select the right fixture.
After i changed all the RGB panel row fixtures to generic dimmer
i replaced the fixturemap back to the original one.
After this you can use al the generators (select dimmer instead of RGD and set the color white)
Maybe Massimo can add a single color to the matrix generator tool list (RGB, GRB, BGR, etc.... Single channel)
to make it more easy in the future
