I am using 4.13.0 on a Mac.
I created a fixture and found a channel missing and wanted to add it.
I added the channel, overwrote it, patched it, and when I tried to use it, I noticed that the channel was not added.
Does anyone know how to work around this symptom?

Fixture is attached.
This is an unfinished file that needs a lot of tweaking.
I am trying to add Pattern step /speed in the channel list to this M2~M5 30ch.

Best regards,

Masatoshi

After tweaking and saving did you restart QLC+?
QLC+ needs to be restarted to load the updated version of the fixture definition.
You did save it in your users' directory I hope?

I think I have a destination to save to, am I wrong?
I believe this has been working all along.
/Users/⚫︎⚫︎⚫︎⚫︎⚫︎⚫︎⚫︎/Library/Application Support/QLC+/Fixtures/GLP-Impression-X5.qxf

I have also rebooted.
Overwrite does not reflect this.
Copying the Fixture's modes, adding channels, renaming and saving did not work.
but I can add and delete new modes with no problem.

Could it be that you also keep a back up from your old fixture definition in your user library?

If you have 2 QXF files (with different file names) that have the same Manufacturer and Model (on the first tab of your Fixture profile), QLC+ can only show one of them.
In your New profile add something like "... V2" to the Model Field.

As an alternative you can create a "QXF Saves" lib in your user library. Only keep the most recent version in your user library and move all the previous versions to this save library.

It has been resolved!
As a result, I recreated the channels I wanted to add, and it worked perfectly.
There might have been a bug...

However, I learned many new methods through this experience.
And it's enjoyable to have discussions within the community.

I want to study more about fixture creation so I can share my knowledge with everyone.

Thank you all very much!!
