I am unable to add a new fixture and then find it in QLC+. I created fixture-name.qxf with qlcplus-fixtureeditor and when I saved it it got put into C:\Users\xxxx\QLC+\Fixtures. But when I open QLC+ and try to add a Fixture Group the new fixture does not show up. I have tried copying it to where QLC+ is installed (D:\Program Files), but that didn't help. Where do I put the files so they get found ?
Thanks
How do you add a new Fixture ?

Quoting your operating system helps.
File locations: https://www.qlcplus.org/docs/html_en_EN ... swers.html
After copying the file inside the folder, you have to restart QLC+ for the new fixture to be found.
Make sure make and model fields are filled in. Using the fixture validator https://www.qlcplus.org/fixture_validator.php makes your definition solid.

I am using Windows 10 and having the same issue.
Thanks for the link to the validator, that showed a couple of errors which I fixed and now it passes, but no matter what I do I cannot get it to load my fixture.
I have confirmed my files are in the correct location as per the link. Can anyone offer any advice?

See the file attached.
It's interesting, if I follow the process on another computer it works fine.
For some reason, on my main PC, even after uninstalling and reinstalling QLC+ it doesn't load the fixtures.
If I delete the user folder then launch QLC+ it recreates the folder structure, but still won't load the fixtures.
I tried running QLC+ in debug mode, but I'm not seeing any errors either.

Indeed.
As I mentioned I did exactly the same thing on another machine, and it works fine.
Clearly, something is wrong with my install, but uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't make any difference to the behaviour.
I tried to remove all traces of QLC+ before reinstalling, but still no luck. I suspect the only way for me to do that is to rebuild the PC.
Has anyone else seen this issue?

Perhaps you're placing fixtures in the wrong Windows user folders?

Definitely in the correct user folder.
I even deleted the folders and relaunched QLC+ (so they would be recreated) to confirm that they are the right ones.
Have run the installer as administrator as well but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

There are some registry (Regedit & search for QLC+) entries that could be wrong.
I honestly never ever got this kind of problem and I installed QLC+ like, I don't know, 100+ times?
