Hi,
is it possible to configure a slider in the Virtual Console so that you can select one of eight different scenes depending on the position of the slider?

You can use a Cue List widget with side slider in "steps" mode

Is there also a way to activate buttons at exact DMX values? For example button 1 at DMX value 0-9, button 2 at DMX value 10-19, button 3 at DMX value 20-29 ...

Not sure I understand your request, but I think you can achieve something like that with the loopback plugin.
