External trigger

Hi all new to DMX so steep learning curve right now so be gentle with me, at present working triggering strip RGBW LEDs via QLC+ got that working fine but I want to be able to add some push buttons in RGB N.O. momentary so when the red button is pushed and held specific addresses light red until the button is released then the red goes off. I need 6 buttons total can anyone suggest some hardware and a method to do this?
