hi everyone!

I'm wondering if I found a bug, or just if I'm missing something.
I have a program that was working great in 4.85 but stopped working when I upgraded to 4.10.3 (windows)

The program has a number of generic RGB fixtures,a VirtualConsole panel with a number of buttons to change the color of all the fixtures, and a single fader that should change the intensity of all fixtures. The problem is with the fader..... setup as a 'subfader' and works in 4.8.5, but not in 4.10.3

I normally use an EntTec usb pro mk-2 controller, but for this 'recreation' all anyone needs to do is view the 'dmx output monitor' to see that the fder doesn't affect the rgb values when using 4.10.3

I'd greatly appreciate any ideas on what I need to change to get this to work.
Thanks in advance for the help, and keep up the great work!

Hello,

- Please don't use dropbox, prefer the upload function of the forum

- Why are all your channels set to LTP ? That's your issue. LTP channels are not affected by the submaster.

Thanks for input (this is my first post)...

I use LTP so that in a live setting I din't have issues with other faders....I always want what I'm doing 'now' to override anything else.
And as I said, this exact same code works just great in 4.8.3.
I'm curious why the obvious operational difference between versions.

thanks!

david --

thanks for the very quick response.
I changed the LTP to HTP in my test code, and it does work.
I'll try that in the actual rig and check if everything works as I need, and will update if not.
Thanks again for the advise!!

:)

Changes have been made to how HTP/LTP channels are handled, and now, LTP channels are now affected by submasters.

4.8 was a long time ago :)
