Although I had checked the supported hardware list, I missed a detail,
my new (just bought) NanoDMX USB interface (DMX4ALL) is not supported on Windows 7 (64bit)
although it is supported for Linux.
Is there a patch or any workaround, for using my new hardware with QLC ?

FreeStyler seemingly supports NanoDMX and includes an ArtNet app;
QLC+ could presumably drive the NanoDMX via ArtNet..
