Hi, random thought but looking for help to see if its feasible.

my ideas was to use a rasp pie or pc with qlc to play back a show of lighting and other items all dmx, triggered via any method possible.

Is this possible ? is it possible to trigger a full show via any method be it MIDI or on the PI any input like a motion sensor or a pressure mat ?

Thanks for your ideas and help any info is brilliant and greatly appreciated.

Hi, I'm not sure what you exactly mean by "show" (a Show is a QLC+ function), but if you refer to a project then yes, you can reproduce it seamlessly with a PC or a Raspberry Pi.
You can remotely access the Virtual Console via web interface (active by default on the RPi).
To trigger functions with custom input signals (sensors and others) you might want to search this forum and use some Python scripts (Linux only) other users posted

I use a FCB1010 from Behringer as MIDI-Controller an the RasPi and it works great.

Hi, thanks for your responses. ill give it another search and have a look into the midi controller.

its actually going to be for a halloween prop and trigger it to control a dimmer pack and some dmx lights with a dmx smoke machine. Hopefully from a pressure pad on the floor or a motion sensor.

i also meant show as in the show function within qlc where you can add a music/video file and add the lights below and press play.

Thanks again
