Hi there,

some issues with the crossfade sliders.
There is no "Backing up". when you start a fade using the sliders and decide to get them back to their original position, they jump to the next scene.
Also the values in DMX output window sometimes stop updating.

running QLC+ 4.4.0 on OSX 10.6.8

Can you report here the actions you do to reproduce the issue ?
Same thing for DMX monitor. "Sometimes" is a little bit too vague...

hi,

I’ve noticed the same issues with the cross-fade sliders, I’m copying a full show from another machine to QLC+.

1- when moving back the sliders after a partially fade, it doesn’t matter how much, the cue fades anyway to the next step in the cue list.

2- I was comparing the dmx-output values with the original ones and I was doing manual cross-fades to save times: sometimes I’ve noticed a strange behavior in the output window. Unfortunately I’m not sure if I did something wrong with the sliders, see the next point, I need to check it better.

3- it’s like if the manual sliders are not in sync with next/previous buttons: after fading some cues with the sliders, you must recall the actual step position in the cue list before starting a new automated step with the buttons, otherwise the fade will start from the “old” position (last used with the buttons)

I’m using QLC+4.4.0 on linux

I'm sorry but the cross-fade sliders aren't reliable right now, and for myself quite confusing.
They're meant to be used manually but if you make a mistake their behaviour will change:

-if you move them only partially and then back, there's a change in the cue list but not in the output;
-point 3 above;
-if you try to move just one slider... it also change the displayed number but I haven't understood what was happening in the output, sorry...
- the mouse-wheel can change across all the cues list if you move it on the first slider (on the left) - when the "link" is unchecked.

I think this is why me and tony schuite were thinking that the output window wasn't updating: the displayed cue in the list was out of sync with the output.
