Hi. I've been trying to get QLC+ (4.7.0) to accept ArtNet input but so far I have had no luck. I enable ArtNet 1 as an input, but when I try to assign an input to a fader, the only input universe available is "1: None" and it asks me to manually enter a channel number.
I probably just don't know what I'm doing so I appreciate any suggestions anyone has!
ArtNet input
Hi, are you using manual or automatic assign ?
I believe manual assignment needs also an input profile assigned.

I just went to the slider properties menu and selected "Choose". Auto detect didn't seem to do anything either.
Sorry If I've missed something but have you actually manually entered the channel number? I also get the "none" (as no profile is selected) but the entering the channel number works fine. When trying auto detect I'm guessing you are actually moving a slider? (presumably that's what the artnet input is?)
I have tried manually entering the channel number but cannot get any input. And yes I tried moving a slider when using auto detect but also got nothing. I guess it is probably not a Q Light related problem then.
Does the joystick icon appear next to universe 1 on the inputs/outputs page? That'll show whether there's signal or not.
Out of interest what are you using as your artnet'controller'?

I am trying to use a mobile app to control Q Light through ArtNet. I have my laptop running Q Light and my phone both connected to the same WiFi network. I have tried 2 seperate apps. I select a slider in Q Lab and under choose input, I select "1:none" then I manually enter 1 for the channel. In the apps I try moving the slider for channel 1 but nothing happens. I have Arnet 1 enabled as input in Q Light.
Am I missing something?
I apologize if I'm completely misunderstanding ArtNet. This is the first time I've tried to use it.

Referring to my above post does a joystick icon appear on the inputs/outputs page of QLC+ when you move a slider on the app?
I have finally got it to work! For some reason, when I closed and restarted Q Light it worked fine.
Thank you for your help!

Ah, OK. QLC+ is a little like that sometimes so in future make that one of your first troubleshooting steps!
