Q Light Controller+

Ok, I'm missing something here...
Using The Chauvet Motion Orb.
6 units, using 240ch dmx mode
I have 3 universes configured, using 480 channels each via E1.31.
Fixtures are created, groups for R, G, B and Full wall(RGB...basically and "All" Group)
I can control individual pixels and I can use the channel groups to change the color of the entire wall, control works fine.
I can preview animations and RGB Matrix settings (Plasma, Text etc...), preview works great.
Have tried it in Programming and playback modes.

Have not been able to view these on the fixtures at all.
I can control color thru the simple desk, but none of the matrix functions.
Tried creating Functions, Scenes, buttons, running the function wizard which gives me the buttons and panels on the Virtual Console.
Nothing seems to send that data out via DMX.


What am I missing here? I'm sure it's something simple and basic, just one missing step.

Firstly have you reset the simple desk after playing with it. This is a big cross next to the page buttons on the simple desk.

Second can you supply a .qxw file so we can see what is going on. Also a fixture file if you have made one.

I think that this may be a common problem for inexperienced users. When I was first learning QLC+ I did not realize that messing with simple desk overrides everything else. It caused me a lot of head-scratching.

Haven't made a fixture file...the RGB Panel works fine...I have 3 set up as 16 rows x 10 columns...in individual pixel dmx mode , the fixture is just 3ch RGB for each pixel repeated over and over.

What are you using to bridge from E1.31 to DMX

Got it...it was just the releasing each Universe from the simple desk...
Using This as E1.31 to DMX bridge:

Works great for all 4 universes!
