It is normal behaviour as the RGB color mixing is the only way used by QLC+ and many other lightcontrol soft ( if not all) to merge and build colors.
The extra "colors", like white, amber, or UV are not include.
I guess that it is just to much calculation for computers but there might be other reasons.
