Q Light Controller+

I am thinking of building a heavy mouse with a big dial on top similar to the type used as a video edit jog dial.
The idea would be to hover over a rotary fader eg pan or tilt on the virtual console and by pushing the switch in the dial down, it would turn on access to that fader so i could rotated it, instead of constantly holding it down . Then push again to turn off and move onto another. I guess an select on off switch for the faders.
Is that possible or a useful future addon.

Unless i misunderstood what you are asking, I think you are already able to hover over faders and knobs and adjust them using the mouse wheel. You just have to hover over the right spot.
