Shows

I'm doing light shows for a travelling group, I used to do it manually with controllers but I want to start using software to control it.
Since they usually perform the same songs I want to prepare them up front so I can reuse them every show. But I can't include the music itself in the show, so how would I go about syncing everything?

I just can't do it, since it's played from a separate source. It's not that it doesn't work in QLC.
I have to find a way to sync the lightshow to an external source. Can I make it trigger when the audio starts or something?
