[FIXED] Linux/Qt4 - 4.10.3 Audio not working

Hi,
Just installed 4.10.3 and now I can't load/play any audio files?
All my existing SFX / wav files don't play.
Trying to reload audio files I get a message box :
Unsupported Audio file :
This Audio file cannot be played with QLC.
This is with .wav, .mp3, .ogg etc.
Am I missing something?
Linux Mint

Which package are you using ? From qlcplus.org or automated builds ?
Qt4 or Qt5 ? 32 or 64 bit ?
I suggest to uninstall 4.10.2/4.10.3 and install 4.10.3 from fresh.
Some paths have changed and audio decoders have become separate plugins

Uhm...there is indeed something wrong. I just installed the same package you tried on Ubuntu where QLC+ has never been installed.
And got the same error on audio files.
All the files seem to be in the right place but it just doesn't work.
I tried also with a package built by OBS and the same happens
I'll have a look later tonight to understand what's going on
Thanks for spotting

Yeah sorry guys.
It is a release only issue (in debug mode it doesn't happen) and most likely it is related only to Qt4 and only to Linux.
I am investigating it but it doesn't seem to be trivial to fix.
Will keep you posted here.

I can confirm, I tested 4.10.3 qt5 on linux arch 64bit and I've not seen sound problems.

Tested on Xubuntu 15.10. qlcplus:4.10.3 QT4 version loading audio don't work I get this error "This audio file cannot be played with QLC+". With an workspace with audio files audio don't play. Qt5 version plays audio without problems.
One more thing, on open audio file window on Qt4 Files of type: shows Audio Files(), on Qt5 Audio files(*.mp3 *.aiff *.aifc *.flac *,oga *.ogg *.flac).

Yes, because extensions come from the audio decoding plugins now. If they are not loaded, the list is empty as well.

Doesn't appear to just be a Linux issue. I'm seeing the same thing on OSX 10.10.5

Damn it, you're right !
Luckily that was trivial to fix. I just uploaded 4.10.3a:
http://www.qlcplus.org/downloads/4.10.3 ... .10.3a.dmg

Linux Qt4 builds should be fixed as well now.
I just uploaded 4.10.3a packages:
http://www.qlcplus.org/downloads.html
Please confirm it is fixed and I'll mark this thread as FIXED.
Thanks

Well, I'm on Lubuntu using 4.10.3a/Qt5 and, while I can import audio files, they do not play.
I also have the issue that, when selecting audio files, the file explorer only shows to open with "Audio Files" rather than the filetypes.
The Audio I/O Panel's "Level Monitor" is at 0% continuously. I don't know if that helps.
I am able to successfully open the files through other programs like Audacity and MPlayer.
"Preview Stereo Channels" correctly analyzes the file.
