Ableton Live and QLC+

Forgive me if this has been asked before, but I'm the Tech Director for my church. We use ableton live for tracks, slides, and want to incorporate it for changing lighting scenes and all that. My Macbook Pro runs ableton, and is on stage with me. We currently use QLC+ in the booth for controlling our lights. How can one use ableton and midi to trigger scenes. I've fooled with this all day and have yet to even get a signal to QLC. Thanks in advance.

Using Audio MIDI Setup on both Macs you should be able to pipe MIDI signals from one computer to the other over the network (https://www.ableton.com/en/help/article ... r-network/). If I remember correctly though, QLC+ won't see the network MIDI device. So you'll have to go back into the Audio MIDI Setup and live route the network to the IAC driver, which QLC+ does see.
