Video playback is not quite officially supported on the RPi.

Video on the pi is only supported for H.264 MP4, you can buy codecs for WMV and MPEG2 tho. Other formats will maybe play, but they don't have hardware acceleration, so basically not viewable.
Don't know how much is incorporated in QLC+ tho.
