Hardware Controller

Hi guys,

Looking to get a hardware controller and was wondering what people are using and how they are finding the functionality.

I think that I am mainly after buttons, but being a sound tech guy I can't resist thinking some sliders might be good to have as well ;)

I have been looking at the Akai APC range, but also the idea of a Novation Launchpad alongside a Bheringer BCF2000 seems as though it would cover all eventualities.

Ideas and suggestions please.

I recently got a BCF2000 and I'm impressed of the possibilities. If you want to, you could edit almost everything on this unit!
The motor faders are a bit old-school and loud, but for my live applications this shouldn't be a problem. Depending on your application, the BCF2000 is definitely worth to mention as a full-customizable controller.

Hi,
if you don't need motor faders, the APCmini is the smallest and cheapest solution. Look for posts with "APC", and you will quickly get a feeling.
