In order to install QLC+, System Preferences->Security&Privacy->General
Unlock, then Allow apps downloaded from @ Anywhere
After installing QLC+, can reset to e.g. @ Mac App Store and identified developers

El Capitan must be rebooted after plugging uDMC before QLC+ can detect it.
This appears to be an El Capitan quirk;
udmx immediately appears in About->System Report->USB,
but not traditional command line USB enumerations.

~/Library/Preferences/net.sf.Q Light Controller Plus.plist is no longer text.
El Capitan provides a Property List Editor.app, which includes a Save option,
which replaces `killall` command. udmx.frequency number 15 setting affects
