Hello Max, I have a big problem with windows on mac QLC and my USB DMX works fine, is an interface similar to enntec and runs through FDTI driver. The problem is that from sth on Windows 7 and Windows 10 has a high latency, you know by chance what depends and how do I fix it? I Bought a specially PC All in One touch specially ... Hello Max, I have a big problem, so I bought a PC All in One for use exclusively qlcplus, but Windows 10 and qlc + 4.10.2 with my open USB DMX v1.0 interface with sth has a very slow response! Instead on my Mac works fine, same version qlc and same interface! I felt freestyler just to see how she reacted, and it works great surprise! I do not want to use freestyler, I hate it! please can you help me to solve this problem, I'm going crazy, and on the forum no one answers !!

First of all, check power settings in win 10. My external sound card didin't work well until i changed power plan from optimized to high performance.

Look here, you will see there is high performance power plan, try to enable it, maybi it will help's.
This is the frst thing what i'm checking for usb faults. Other plans have energy saving features for usb ports which you don't need in live events.

1. What does it mean high latency? How long is the latency?
2. Can you check DMX monitor whether the numbers change immediately?
3. Do you have the DMX device connected directly to computer, or is USB hub in between?
4. any other USB devices connected to computer?
5. any antivirus/firewall?
6. what CPU usage does TaskManager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC) show?
7. does changing DMX refresh rate change the latency as well? (see http://qlcplus.org/docs/parameterstuning.html 4.2 and 4.5)
8. does changing DMX channel count change the latency? (same page, section 4.3).
9. please attach your workspace here.

1. Few seconds is strange, but I remember sobody already had this problem. Try to find it in the old posts...

- start regedit.exe program (press windows key + R, type regedit, enter)
- go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\qlcplus\Q Light Controller Plus
- if there's a folder called enttecdmxusbopen, go to it. otherwise right-click on "Q Light Controller Plus" and select New..., Key. enter "enttecdmxusbopen"
- in the enttecdmxusbopen right click, select New..., DWORD, set name "frequency" and value as you wish. the same for "channels" - enter number that is 10+your used channels
- similarly for "mastertimer" folder and "frequency" DWORD.
I'd start with reducing channels, if that doesn't help, reduce channels to 25. Next increase channels to 40. I don't think master timer will help...
9. I meant your QXW file + any needed QXF files that you created + add steps how we can reproduce the problem -- what do do you click/select/run when the problem appears.
