Hi, according to the tests I've done, OSX video playback is quite limited.

I would say you need to stick around Quicktime formats, such as MP4 and MOV.
Video I would say H.264 and audio AAC.

If other OSX users had more luck than me (e.g. installing extra codecs which I'm not aware of) please contribute to this discussion.
