Script: read the current value of a channel of a fixtures

The Script can read the current value of a channel of fixtures and store it in a slot for reuse?
Scenario:
- I create a script to do the reset of a moving light
- Eg imposed the channel 16 of a fixtures to the value 82 for 5 seconds
- And stop the function
If the value of the channel 16 was set for example to 5 (before the start of the script) how do I bring it back to that initial value (15)?
