Crashing on startup on OSX 10.10.5

Hi,

Firstly, what a great piece of kit!

Although, I have a pretty annoying issue, when the software just won't start up on OSX.

When trying to open the software, and clicking "Q Light Controller Plus", it attempts to start up then at some point crashes before opening the main window. The error message displayed tells me that it needs to re-open (I can't remember the exact message but it's pretty standard).

I re-install. I delete both the user preferences and the global preferences as described in the help files but this doesn't work. Still the same problem.

For some reason a few days later it will again load correctly and I can use it again! This is despite me restarting the computer many times.

The problem occurs after I have changed a setting related to the plugins. The first time was when I was playing with some IAC settings, the second time after disabling the Apple driver that prevents the ENTTEC DMX USB PRO from working correctly.

I am using OSX 10.10.5.
Q Light Controller Plus 4.9.1

Help!!

Thanks,
Ben

QLC+ 4.9.1 work for me on MacBookPro 6,1 - OS X Yosemite 10.10.5

It can be a problem of the downloaded file?

Most likely it's one of the plugins causing this.

Please, try to remove the plugin files one by one from inside the app bundle (they are in Contents/Plugins) and see if the software starts.
Then please report which one was causing it.
I would bet on OLA or MIDI.

Thanks for your responses, next time it occurs I'll check the plugins folder. I didn't realise there was any other way of accessing it when not in the program! Would have probably saved me a lot of headaches.
