Chaser intensity glitch

Have a somewhat odd behavior with chasers.
Here is the rundown,
I created a candle flicker effect on 4 dimmer channels.
I created 9 scenes for the flicker effect on 4 channels/candles
I put them all in a chaser, set timings and selected loop.
Runs great, but of course I start to see patterns, so I select random.
In the Virtual console I have that chaser tied to a fader so I can dim, or dial in the correct brightness for the flicker effect. When it is on "loop" everything works correctly, the glitch occurs when the chaser is set to random. Say I have the VC fader set at 50%, the effect works correctly in dialing down the effect to 50% of my programed values, however about every 5-50seconds, the brightness of the chaser jumps to 100% for the fraction of time that scene is displayed. (in this case, about .10 sec)
Nothing is changing in the VC, however in the Simple Desk I see all the faders jumping with the lights. These random glitches only happen with I set the chaser to Random, running on a normal loop does not produce the glitch.
