This is more of a comment than a question, and I didn't want to hijack Highpersonix's thread.
I have found that LTP is a Function control, and seems not valid when using slider widgits set to Level rather that Playback.

eg Using default rgb fixture. Set the channels to LTP.
In VC create a slider, use Level to control say Red.
Create a second slider Level set to control Red. Only the second slider will have control?
Do this with a third slider, and only the third slider will have control.

Using Functions and Playback this does not happen.

Now the question. Is this correct?

hmmm. I believe, not truely...
good to know, but why should I need 3 sliders doing the same thing?

I wanted to use buttons to call up scenes. Then sliders to live adjust if necesary.
The same effect will be seen. The sliders take control.

Use the above...
Create fixture Generic RGB. Set R,G,B to LTP
Create a scene using all RGB. (ie R=50,G=100,B=150)
In VC create a button to call that scene.
Then a slider, using Level to control Red.
Press the button, and the Red chan will not change. Move the slider and the Red does change.

The slider has total controll of Red. Just to prove a point ...
Create a second slider, set Level to Red. THAT slider will now controll Red, not the first slider.

The only way (so far) I have got round this, is to create a scene for every channel for every fixture. Set to 255.
Then in VC a slider for each scene using Playback to play each scene.
So in the above.
Scene 1 R255 G0 B0
Scene 2 R0 G255 B0
Scene 3 R0 G0 B255
Then any other scenes required for the show.
The 3 sliders for RGB/Scene1,2,3 and buttons for the show scenes.
Press a button, the scene comes up. Move a slider from 0, it takes controll. Put the slider back to 0, the scene takes back control. LTP

In effect, LTP is LWTP Last Widgit Takes Precedence when using Level control.

AFAIK, "Monitor the selected channels and update the slider level" was introcuced to publicity in v4.9.1 (and developed just before, plugz knows better...)

I switched it off on "red LTP" and - you told right!
try, then switch it on again and compare... @Deece, any further jam?

could - a move on slider - "push out" the button, same as switching between two buttons old-radio-style?

@all: should or should not that "push out" happen?
