Made a donation via paypal, but not sure what happens now to get a link to the Raspberry Pi implementation of this project. Not sure who or how to contact so this is my only medium.

You should get an email from Massimo. It took about 8 hours to get my download link. But I believe that was do to the time difference. If you just made a payment I wouldn't start freaking out just yet. Give him time to process everything. You'll get an Email back to the Email registered to your PayPal account.
