Hi,

I have a simple performance, 48 chanels dimmers, and 4 parled movils.
Only I need to remapping chanels of the dimmer, I has done like a manual explain but that's not work. I tried to make a simple remapping channel 1 to channel 2, It's created a reasigned file, I test with the simple desk, and the ch 1 hasn't changed, is in the same channel, and when I re-open the mapping window, It's open like I wouldn't done nothing.
I have instaled QLC+ 4.8.2 in MacBook pro with Mavericks with interface Ettenc Dmx Usb Pro.

I'm sorry for my english, I hope it's undersand.

Thanks,

Ramsés

Hi ramix,

you can upgrade your QLC+ version to latest 4.9.1 and test again to remapping (might be a old bug) ?

Ramses,

remapping doesn't work that way. It doesn't remap the channel "under the hood" or "in runtime" so that e.g. real DMX channel #7 appears to be channel #3 in QLC+.
That doesn't work (yet: there is a work in progress that does something similar: https://github.com/mcallegari/qlcplus/pull/469, though it was not integrated yet and I'm not how the discussion ended...)

The remapping works by changing all the already created scenes to reflect the new lamp patching. This change is done once for all and after that the original world order is lost.
For example, in venue A you patch PARS: 1 - green, 2 - red, 3 - blue, 4 - blue, 5 - red, 6 - green. Then your green scene will contain channels 1 and 6, red one will be 2 and 5, and blue will be 3 and 4.
Then , when in venue B someone patches it as 1 - blue, 2 - green, 3 - red, 4 - blue, 5 - green, 6 - red, then remapping will change your scenes to contain proper channels (green - 2&5, red - 3&6, blue - 1&4).

In simple desk they will always be in patched order. The playbacks in Simple desk should be changed to reflect the new patching as well (but looking at the code we forgot to implement that part...).

Thanks for your help,

janosvitok, then I undersand that the remapping doesn't work mapping dimmer in QLC+, does it?, in any version of QLC+?
I have 150 scenes, I need some method that I could changed the patch fasted.
The app you proposed, you know how I have to istall. I have a look the link you posted, it's a developer web, isn't it?

lorenzoandreani, you know some QLC+ version that's work remapping.
Although I have a problem too with the 4.8.2 later's version, when I tried to installed it's pop up this message "Image not recognized". Do you know which's the problem?

Thanks,

Thanks,
The remapping work perfect (i have 4.9.1), the janosvitok info are right you can remap the fixtures and the virtual console but not the simple desk.

So if you have a slider in the virtual console that controls the channel 1 it can remap for example in the channel 6.

Hi Lorenzoandreani,

you are right!!, :)
It works,
I thought if in the simple desk hadn't changes between channels, neither in the virtual console wouldn't had changes, but It works in the virtual console.
Now I tried at home without connect dmx , I'll try in the theatre with dmx and fixtures, I suppose It's work.

Thank you very much,

Cheers,

Hi Lorenzoandreani,

I'm sorry,

finally I have tried with the dmx conenction and fixtures, and the remapping dimmers works like you have told, but when I make a remaping the movils leds go crazy int the EFX movements, the static positions and color It works, but not in the movements.
Do you now why this happen?
