Touchscreen and flash buttons in VC..

Hey guys,

I am running QLC+ on windows 8.1 using a Dell AIO touchscreen..

The problem I am having is that I can't get flash buttons to work when I set them up in the virtual console. When I hold my finger on a flash button, it doesn't activate. It brings up the right-click mouse options. For example if I have a button set up to flash full intensity white on all my fixtures, holding the button brings up the intensity slider as if I had right-clicked the button..

I have disabled the "long press right mouse click" option in control panel but it doesn't seem to have changed the behaviour. I need to understand if this is a windows thing or if there is something I am missing in QLC.

Thanks

George

Hi,

This looks like a windows issue.
What happens if you do a long press outside of QLC+ ?

I think also, decision if your driver sends a "Button Touch"= Mousedown or "Button Left"=LeftClick.
Do you have modifiers e.g. Shift-Key?

Otherwise if you can use a keyboard - Assigning Hotkeys to Flashbuttons is also fine...

Do normal buttons (on/off toggle) work ?
In design mode, if you long press on an empty area of the Virtual Console, is a context menu displayed ? If so, it means the "disable long press right click" option of your touchscreen just doesn't work.
