I went to the download page on qlcplus.org (http://www.qlcplus.org/downloads.html)
Downloaded: qlcplus_4.9.1_i386.deb and qlcplus_4.9.1_OLA_i386.tar.gz
Right click on qlcplus_4.9.1_i386.deb, Open with Ubuntu Software Center
Software Center shows: "Dependency is not satisfiable: libudev0 (>=147)"
Opened terminal, command: sudo apt-get install libudev0
Error: (E: Package 'ilbudev0' has no installation candidate)

I've installed the libdev0 library manually by downloading the .deb package here, then the .deb package installation worked without problems.

Building from source was also no problem when I followed the instructions.

That works, thanks.

I think that link should be included in the install instructions, or included in the qlcplus.deb file.

Have a show this week with about 50 moving heads and 40 or so pars and this would be really good to get sorted so i have a bit of time to work with the program. I have been using a few other programs but they are widows based and the usb drive infection rate for windows in Africa is really high. Also would just love to get off the windows bandwagon. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

Have you noticed this detail in the error message ?

You may have to uninstall qlc before installing qlc+

Hey Plugz,

Thanks many times over, that did it.
Had to move to linux due to crazy virus problems down here in Africa with usb thumb drive transfers during a show last week. Just switched to Linux after bios mbr virus wiped out all of my computers last week. Almost completely switched over and really digging it. If you want photos of the event, please let me know.

Thanks again.
