Web interface slider smoothness

Hey there,
I finally managed to get QLC+ running on an RPi 2 under Arch Linux ARM with lxde as a window manager. Absolutely love your work, thank you so much for continuing development.
I noticed that when using the web interface, there is a significant difference between using the "simple desk" sliders compared to the ones in operation mode. While the former control my fixture really smooth, adjusting intensity within the operation view causes either the LEDs (on android phone) or the slider's knob itself (PC using a mouse) to flicker heavily and regularly results in connection loss.
Is there a fundamental difference of the slider implementation that prevents the use of the "smooth" type in OP mode?
- Thanks!
