Q Light Controller+

Dear Friends,

I'm new to QLC+ and switching over from Enttec DMXIs / Show Buddy. Is there a way to trigger a show via MIDI? I have setup a profile and have QLC+ and can get it to hear MIDI from another program. I can get the button to start the show in Virtual Console, but I can't seem to trigger the button (in VC) via MIDI. Is this my lack of knowledge or a limitation of the program? Yes there is.

What happens when you do "Auto Detect" in the button config page ? Does it receive the MIDI signal ?
Did you check the MIDI channel you use in the sending software (which is ?) is the same used by QLC+ ?

I could get QLC+ to receive the MIDI message, but I was having a problem getting the virtual console to see it. I could see it in the Input / Output section, but could not get it to work in the virtual console. I tried downloading version 4.8.5 as well as the latest 4.9.0 I'm sure there's some setting that I'm missing. I may just wait until version 5.0 to switch over. Thanks for all of your hard work!
