MIDI relative sliders

Hi All
I'm seeing and interesting problem. If I set create a slider midi controller in relative mode and then link it to a VC slider, the VC slider stand still when it gets a "middle" value. If it gets a midi value of 63 it goes down automatically and if it gets a midi value 64 it goes up automatically.
I suspect that this has something to do with the resolution limit of MIDI of 128.
One solution would be to add a sensitivity/tolerance parameter to the relative mode so that the change around the centre must exceed that value before the external control is considered to be moving. So setting it to 2 would require a value of 62 to start going down and 65 to start going up. Another parameter that would help a lot as well would e a centre value, as some controllers do
I am building my own controller so it can act as either an HID or a MIDI device. I prefer HID as it gives me better resolution and QLC works in relative mode with it but Windows refuses to see more than 6 sliders, so now I am trying MIDI.
Cheers
Chris
