Q Light Controller+

Hello everyone,

I have a setup where I have the ENNTEC PRO Mk2 connected to a laptop with QLC+ 4.8.5 running.
I have a MIDI device connected to the MIDI input, and a DMX device connected to the DMX 1 output.

Seperatly they work perfectly, I get DMX output and I get the joysick flash and slider movement.
But when I try to use them simultaneously it just does'nt work, I get no DMX output (even though the lights on the Mk2 are correct (green for DMX and purple for MIDI).

Does anyone know a possible solution? Did I forget something? Wrong setting?

Hi, according to the DMX USB documentation table, the combination you mentioned is supported and I tested them all when I reworked the plugin the last time.

I have a MK2 at home, so I can check the scenario. If I reproduce any issue I'll let you know and eventually fix it.

Some details, maybe helpfull:
- When I try to use both MIDI and DMX (in INPUTS/OUTPUT check the checkboxes) QLC+ often just freezes (in windows 'QLC+ is not responding) when I disconnect Mk2 it unfreezes again.
- When I try to use both MIDI and DMX, the MIDI input works (joystick appears, slider moves) but there is no DMX output, this is consistent. Always MIDI working and no DMX output.
- The LED's on the Mk2 are flashing the correct colours, white for power, green for DMX 1 and purple for MIDI

If you have more questions about things you need to know to solve this problem, ask, I'll try to answer them as good as possible.

I just tested the case.
It freezes on Windows while it works perfectly on Linux.

So it's a Windows specific issue. Gonna investigate it when I have a bit of time.

It was a nasty issue involving almost every device.
