Problems with Midi beat clock configuration

Hi
I'm trying to sync the midi beat clock signal produced by MainStage with QLC+
I have read the manual about the midi feature her:
http://www.qlcplus.org/docs/midiplugin.html
But I really don't get it to work.
The manual says this:
I have tried this:
- Added my midi input to a universe
- Selected the "generic midi" profile
- Added channel 530 and 531 to the "generic midi"
- Added a speed dial widget and connected it to a chaser
- Added channel 530 to the "tap input"
But the widget don't recognise any clock signal.
What am I doing wrong?

The manual says this:
Can someone please tell me a setup that works? Two special MIDI channels have been mapped in QLC+ to control your Virtual Console widgets with a beat clock.
Channel 530: A signal is sent on this channel when a beat clock starts or stops.
Channel 531: This signal is sent every BPM. QLC+ doesn't take any notice of measures (e.g. 3/4, 4/4, 7/8), so when setting up your MIDI clock you need to consider how QLC+ will handle it.
