Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone has created a profile to use the Novation Launchpad S as a midi controller? it was easy to just map the relevant buttons using the auto detect, but can not seem to get my head around sending "Feedback / Output" back to the Launchpad to light up the LED's on the pads. anyone had any success with this?

Have you tried setting the MIDI output mode to "Note velocity" ?

Hi Massimo,
I will have another look at where i can find the settings to change the midi output to velocity mode and be sure to post my findings here. I really wanted to make sure i can correctly build the profile and have it working 100% then will most definitely share it with the community .....

After digging into every possible feature and having tried to set the midi output to "Note Velocity" i still cant seem to figure out how the application was written in order to accommodate send LED feedback for controllers. Maybe i have the concept wrong or the feature simply don't exist in the software because one would think that if you created a "button/fader" as you would assign a midi value to trigger it you would also have a mdid > out value where you would be able to set the value of the corresponding midi (LED) note that you want to give feedback of the button state to?
Just cant seem to figure this out in this software. Any help would be welcome.
Once again i haven't posted my profile yet as it is not complete and fairly pointless to post a profile that does not support LED feedback. Once this is resolved if i have success .... i will surely share it with everyone here.
