Hello to all developers, i want support for Input on ENTTEC DMX USB PRO, so i can connect a regular mixer to the interface's input port, and i know for a fact this is actually possible.

Thanks for all possible help.

Or just help selecting the device as a DMX USB PRO instead of an OPEN DMX USB, since i see the software already supports input for the device here: http://www.opendmx.net/index.php/Q_Ligh ... s_(QLC%2B)

I don't have QLC+ right here, so it's just a guess:

Somewhere in the Input/Output tab (left panel) select USB DMX plugin and open configuration dialog - [the button with a screwdriver and a wrench](https://github.com/mcallegari/qlcplus/b ... figure.png). There you should be able to select type of your device.

See, in QLC+ it is SUPPOSED to detect it automatically, and it does, it says it's a DMX USB PRO, which it is. However, it does not enable Input no matter what.

1- writing things in caps won't make your dmx pro working
2- please don't use the words "I want". It's just rude and useless.
3- at least tell us which operating system you're using
4- have you tried with previous versions of QLC+ or with QLC ? QLC+ 4.2.2 could behave differently for the dmx usb part

I do apologize for appearing to be rude, but i had no intentions of being so. The fact that some letters were caps was due to the fact that the DMX USB PRO is written that way, even on the ENTTEC website. As you probably can see the entire title was not all-caps. I actually needed that fixed at the moment, because i had 1 week until i was going to use QLC+ on my school. I ended up having to use a DMX Mixer.

However, on-topic:
I am using OSX 10.8.4 (Mountain Lion).
MIDI is not working, in or out (it does with the same device on windows and wine).
DMX USB PRO does not show any input box, in any configuration, plugged into any USB port.
I am running the newest version of QLC+.

If you need more information, ask.

By the way, the lights are doing completely random things when input is plugged in, no matter what i do in QLC+. When the DMX USB PRO is disconnected from the computer, it acts as a passthrough. I think there is some sort of bug in QLC+ about this.

Hi Alexander, I found an issue with the enttec open usb interface that may be effecting the pro version as well. Can you grab the dmg below, give it a try and let us know if this corrects the problem you are seeing.

Excuse me ? Can you please inform me about your findings before publishing unofficial versions of QLC+ that can only lead to confusion ?
Rowan Deppeler

Sorry.. understand

Just a heads up, i won't be able to test anything until after summer.
