Hi together,

i would like to share my experience regarding a cheap ArtNet-Node with you. For just around 35€ you can build your own ArtNet Node. I already have build up two of them (One for a friend of mine, one for myself). Only basic skills on soldering are neccessary.
The Node is working really good! Im using it with a WLAN Nano Router, which acts as a Bridge. SO i have wireless DMX in the garden soon.

If you want i can upload some pictures of it.

Im not the owner of this site, and im not in any relations with the guy behind! Hope that somebody can find this usefull.

You can find some more infos about the project here, e.g. sourcecode of the µController, PCB Layout etc...

Hello,
wow, very nice project! Thank you for sharing this !
I've found also other interesting DMX project there, I'll surely looking into it :)

If I read well I have to buy kits with PCB and all the components needed and then I just have to solder them and programming the microcontroller?

Hi Alessandro,

the mentioned project is already programmed. You just need to solder the parts onto the PCB. Maybe you need to change the IP Adress afterwards. But nothing more.
If you got some basic solder skills, that should not be a problem.

May this be a valid substitute: http://www.deskontrol.net/blog/arduino- ... tnet-node/
Specially for development. I can confirm that, it works. But is not stable for more then 2 universes. It needs some more development.
