At first, you do not need to install the drivers for your USB-DMX dongle is recognized by OSX.
But it may be that like me you have installed the driver recommended on some sites for dongles built around FTDI chipset work.
There is no guarantee that your dongle work better. By cons when you equipped you with a suitable dongle is QLCplus that no longer will access your DMX network and you are left to find many nights.

How do I know if this driver is installed on your system
Go to "about this mac". ask the system report and the software / extensions look so FTDIUSBSerialDriver tab appears.

How to remove this extension
If you do not know how to use the terminal, one solution is to use the software CleanApp. (http://www.syniumsoftware.com/cleanapp/)
The demo version is sufficient to do the job. The driver is in "kernel extensions"

I have to experience as much as it benefits everyone.
