Hi all,

I am a complete novice using QLC+, but also working with lighting in general, so I hope these issues I have can be resolved without too much pointing and laughing.

This is my setup:
MBP, 10.9.5
Enttec PRO MK2
QLC+
No controller surface (This isn't the reason things aren't working, is it?)
At the moment, I have hooked up 1 Chauvet SlimPAR TRI7, but I will be using 4 of them. Nothing else at present.

So, this should probably be a walk in the park. I installed the Enttec PRO manager, and have contact with the light from there (under the DMX SEND tab, I used 'faders' as source, and am transmitting on all 7 channels), as in it is actually working.

But when I use the QLC+ software to control the light, nothing happens.

In QLC+, Universe 1 is transmitting to Enttec Output 1 - at least the box is checked. I have read most of the help file and followed the tutorials.

Any and all help would be much appreciated.

Hi Johannes,

I have a MBP and the Enttec USB PRO. When QLC starts the LED should blink on the interface. I remember some times it would not start but I keep restarting or change settings to get it to work.

I don't use it on the MPB much anymore since I built a stand alone controller I'm tweaking.

Hi Johannes,

There's stuff on the web about NOT installing VCP drivers as they interfere with the interface. Have you? Just an idea.

@Jimmy: Yes, LED seems to be behaving correctly. I also got a reading on the DMX monitor within QLC, so it should all be correct.

@Boxy: Is this the same issue as the one I found in the updated manual (on line)? [Paragraph 3, 2.2, MacOSX](http://www.qlcplus.org/docs/dmxusbplugin.html)..?

Sorry, never used a Mac in my life(!). Nearest I got was trying to get an iphone 4 to do something years ago.

There are numerous posts about certain alternative drivers that screw things up if installed. I guess that ripping them all out and starting the install again is the way to go.
