Hi,

This is great software and the amount of work put in by Massimo is amazing.

The screen that I am going to be using most is the Multitrack scene editor. Having used a number of multitrack audio recording software and blender I was wondering if there was any mileage in having the individual control shown pattens shown by lines with grab handles to enable editing.

I have created a mock screen shot of what it might look like;

Any comments greatly received.

Hi OddSocks. I cannot see the mockup. Seems like the URL is not public.
Try again ? :)

Try it again.

I have changed the settings and it seems to work now.

Wow ! That looks pretty messy with just 3 channels....imagine with Moving Heads with 15-20 channels !
The idea is good but it has to be studied carefully.
I've seen that approach on DAWs like Cubase for volume envelope or plugin controls, but they usually display one curve at the time.
Just for curiosity, can you post a screenshot of a DAW doing something like your idea ?

Could not do a DAW quickly but here is a shot from Blender showing its control graph.

As you say it does get very busy but the controls on the left let you select different channels for viewing. So you could show just the Pan / tilt channels or RGB channels.

The other thing making this look busy is that the curves are in Bezier mode so you have three handles on each point.
