I don't know how common this package is, and I can't find any reference to it on here, but I needed to install it in Ubuntu 13.10 64-bit before I could build the project.

Hi Matthew.
FFTW is needed to perform the spectrum analisys for audio triggers. The dependency is written in the Linux build HOWTO since a while now

Thanks and sorry not to spot that - I just looked at the README and searched this forum. The README does have a link to the project on GitHub (which is where it will have come from) but that understandably puts the emphasis on code download/browsing, with the link from there to the wiki not being given much prominence. As you have specific sections in the README for the three platforms, maybe it would help the unobservant to put a link to the corresponding build guides in each section?

Yeah, the README file has probably been left behind. For some reason I take that who wants to build QLC+ goes through GitHub. (there's a link to the Wiki on QLC+'s website too)
I will update it as soon as I have some time
